Well, according to the latest statistics released by the US Bureau of Labor, some college graduates may need to resort to settling for jobs that do not use the degree they just obtained. As many as 50 % of college graduates under age 27 are being considered as ‘underutilized’ in employment. This means they are working a job such as a barista or bartender, a part-time job or are simply unemployed. But I think that with ever-decreasing support from the Government, universities now must considerably cut spendings, increase efficiencies and turn to other sources for revenue, along with tuition.

Don’t blame President Obama for the actions of the ATF cowboys. Ruby Ridge, Waco, targeting and entrapping minorities, and now Fast and Furious. This is just ATF, and ATF alone and out of control. Situation normal.

I used to be against public financing of elections before I understood the underlying rationale for it. It is now abundantly clear and painfully obvious that publicly financed elections are the only way to prevent the buying of elections by corporations and the rich. Just a plain and simple truth. Support Arizona Clean Elections. Support publicly financed elections throughout the country. Demand it.

Here in the UK, the ‘Code for Sustainable Homes’ aims to reduce wter cosumption from the mains down from the current average of 150 litres/person/day (38 US gallons) to only 80 litres by 2016. This can only be achieved by rainwater harvesting.
Our UK washing machines use only 45 litres per load (11 gallons) and Leeds University has developed a washing machine that uses 90% less water per load – the XEROS. http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2010/mar/09/xeros-washing-machine-bills
Converting from conventional laundry systems will save 90% of the fresh water associated with washing. Take US domestic washing as an example, that translates into 1.2 billion tonnes of water saved per year, equivalent to 17 million swimming pools.
